The Alexander Technique and Barney are on the move. Following the success of the Alexander Technique and Barney’s workshops held at Forest Stables we are now able to come out to your venue (providing you have the facilities to cater for him!). This means that you will get an Alexander Technique session with Sarah Witkin on the static saddle and then a session with Lucy on Barney. Depending on how many people are attending and how long you have booked us for will depend on the time each of these sessions will last. 
No prior experience of the Alexander Technique or riding a simulator is required and you can be working at any level to get the benefits from both.
The cost of a visit will vary slightly depending on how far away you are and how long you want us to be with you.
Our basic package for a visit will cost £200 for 2 hours plus travel costs (see below for details of travel costs). A minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 7 people can attend the two hours. We can run on longer than two hours to cater for additional people and the cost after that will be £80 per hour (please note no part hourly rates apply).
Round trip travel charges from Forest Stables where Barney is based are as follows:
5 -10 miles £10.80
10 – 20 miles £21.60
20 – 30 miles £32.44
30 – 40 miles £43.20

Deposit:
Once a convenient date has been arranged the cost of the initial 2 hours, £200 plus travel charges must be paid up front to confirm your booking, the remaining balance for additional hours can be paid on the day.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel 48 hours before the arranged date you will get 50% refund. If you cancel after 48 hours of the date then no refund will be given.
Weather:
It is up to the discretion of Riding for Recovery to decide whether Barney will travel in adverse weather conditions e.g. snow and ice. If a cancellation has to be made due to weather we will arrange another convenient date to for Barneys visit.
